This month we will be meeting on Tuesday, January 19, at 7:30 p.m. at Richmondtown.
Tina will discuss thhttp://crochetcoralreef.org/Content/about/hyperbolic_space_clip_image001.jpge Crochet Coral Reef, an ecological project she was involved in. We will all be working on crocheted coral. Even if you don’t remember how to make the basic single crochet stitch, you will learn on the spot, and everybody will be able to participate in this workshop. You will be able to apply the skills learned here to making other three-dimensional objects, like stuffed animals.
Materials to Bring:
Most of you received crochet needles and various yarns in your goodie bags, so you should be all set. I will bring extra yarn and needles in case there is somebody who doesn’t have any yarn ;-} Crochet patterns from the Institute for Figuring are below if you would like to experiment before our meeting.
Maureen P. has volunteered for cookies/milk.
